Bryan Braman, a former NFL linebacker, has died at the age of 38.

Braman’s agent, Sean Stellato, said the former player “very rare” form of cancer. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans, Fox News reported.

Stellato told ESPN about Braman’s death Thursday.

Rest in Peace brother.

Gone far too soon.

Braman was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. A GoFundMe account was set up in February. That account garnered more than $88,000.

Former teammate J.J. Watt alone donated $10,000.

According to the GoFundMe account, Braman had a “CAR-T cell reprogramming treatment.”

It was initially deemed effective, but “the cancer has grown exponentially faster, and is now growing around his vital organs.”

RIP, Bryan Braman.

Forever a champion. 💚 #Eagles pic.twitter.com/Mi3SV4bKrN

Braman spent most of his time in the NFL with the Eagles. He was part of the Eagles team that won the Super Bowl over the New England Patriots.

He signed with the Eagles in 2014 after spending three years with the Texans. He was signed as an undrafted free agent.

Braman had two daughters — ages 11 and 8.
