Well, here we go again — another Washington drama where loyalty to the law collides head-on with loyalty to the activist next door, and the fallout is about as subtle as a fire alarm in the middle of the night. A longtime Department of Justice forensic accountant in Texas says she’s just been shoved out the door because of her husband’s little side project — you know, the one that literally warns people when federal immigration agents are coming to do their jobs.

Let that sink in for a second. A DOJ staffer with access to sensitive information… married to the guy behind ICEBlock, an app that pings your phone if ICE is within five miles of you. That’s not just controversial. That’s like waving a red flag in front of every agent who risks their life tracking down fugitives. And we’re supposed to believe no one in D.C. would take issue with that? Please.

I can see where his app targeting law-enforcement officers, putting their lives in danger, could have been a problem for her employment, yes. https://t.co/6i7Yg5Lyxq

Here’s where the plot thickens. Carolyn Feinstein — that’s the staffer — says she was blindsided, ambushed, tossed out like yesterday’s trash on Friday. According to her, this wasn’t about job performance, it was payback. Retaliation. The big bad DOJ supposedly punishing her for the sins of her spouse. Sounds dramatic, doesn’t it? But wait, it gets even murkier.

She admits she owns minority shares in her husband’s company. Minority shares or not, that company literally hosts the IP address for the app. The app that activists are now using as a shield against immigration enforcement. She says she only holds those shares in case hubby becomes “incapacitated” so she can shut it down. Convenient explanation… or carefully rehearsed spin? You decide.

Carolyn Feinstein operates on X as “@oohblackbetty,” where she posts anti-Trump rhetoric, defends @BernieSanders, and mocks conservatives. And then comes the kicker: she didn’t hide it. She says she went straight to DOJ management when the death threats started pouring in for her husband. Think about that. Instead of the app being quietly shut down, suddenly the DOJ knows one of their own has financial ties to a tech tool that undermines ICE operations. A week later, the questions start. A few weeks after that, she’s out on the street.

EXCLUSIVE:

Not only is Joshua Aaron, the founder of the ICEBlock app married to a current DOJ employee named Carolyn Feinstein, but he is also a member of ANTIFA who has called for violent resistance against the Trump admin and ICE @ICEgov agents.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan and ICE’s Acting Director Tom Lyon weren’t exactly whispering their concerns. They went public. They demanded answers. They called ICEBlock what it is — an app that gives illegal immigrants a running head start while putting federal agents in danger.

And the DOJ? Officially, they say they’ve been investigating for weeks. They’re not exactly crying over Feinstein’s exit. They’re standing firm, saying they “will not tolerate threats against law enforcement or law enforcement officers.” That’s a pretty loud message, isn’t it?

Feinstein says she was unbiased, dedicated, loyal to the people of the United States. But how many people are wondering right now: if you’re really that committed, why are you tied — even by a thin financial thread — to a tool that undermines the very agents you’re supposed to support?
