Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld tore into his co-host for Democrats’ “selective outrage” over the Jeffrey Epstein case.
The incident played out on air on Wednesday’s episode of “The Five” when his liberal co-host Jessica Tarlov was the target of Gutfeld’s outrage, per the Western Journal.
The panel was discussing news from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard that former President Barack Obama’s administration made up the narrative that linked President Donald Trump to Russia. The conversation then turned to the Epstein case.
“They amplified a false conclusion that Trump colluded with Russia in 2016,” Gutfeld said.
“We had to spend years dealing with that. And now we’re actually getting an investigation, and you’re saying, ‘No. You know what? You guys should just move on,’” he added. “You say the same effing thing about Biden’s brain.”
He continued his rant about the Democrats’ take on former President Joe Biden,
“You guys spent four years telling us that Joe Biden was fine. You covered up for an invalid, and then when we get the truth, it’s like, ‘Oh, you know what? We gotta look forward. We gotta start talking about what’s there.’ … Unlike Democrats, we can handle two things, three things, four things at once.”
Tarlov spoke up, saying, “Doesn’t seem like it.”
But Gutfeld continued, “No! Have you been
listening to the right lately? The right is more on top of Epstein than Democrats are!”
“The Democrats never cared about Epstein until they saw a political motivation,” Gutfeld said. “The right was into the Epstein story because children, women were big sex-trafficked. We actually cared!”
Gutfeld ended with, “But now you’re like, ‘Ooh, Epstein. A political angle. Ooh, this is fantastic.’ Save me your selective outrage!”
Watch:
The Epstein case has been front and center in the media as of late.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said earlier this year she had the Epstein files.
She then announced that there was “no client list.”
