Greg Gutfeld and Jimmy Fallon had much to talk about during Gutfeld’s appearance on “The Today Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” — but politics, for the most part, was not one of them.

Fallon hosted Gutfeld on his show Thursday night on a rare crossover moment, Variety reported.

The 10-minute interview started with the two giving each a huge hug. Then came the story of how the conservative media personality and Fallon met 15 years earlier.

“This is hilarious – we’ve met before,” Fallon said, per Fox News.

“Yes, you have no memory of it,” Gutfeld said. “Which is understandable, because we were wasted.”

The two met in an “illegal speakeasy” in Hell’s Kitchen, Gutfeld said.

It looked “like a place where special ops forces waterboard terrorists,” he added.

“You’re not making this up. I totally know what you’re talking about,” Fallon responded. “I think I remember bringing beer into the bar, and then him charging me for my own beer.”

Gutfeld then recalled their first interaction.

“And you run towards me, and you tackle me, like you’re a giant golden retriever,” Gutfeld said. “You’re like on top of me. And so we’re wrestling. We’re wrestling. And then you change, and you start wrestling my buddy Andy, and you’re wrestling him. And you guys get on the ground. You guys are now on the ground wrestling.”

“What?!” Fallon said not really believing what he was hearing.

“So I pull out a cigarette. I light a cigarette, and I’m smoking it, and you stop, and you come over to me, and you grab it, and you crinkle it, and you go, ‘These things will kill you!’ and you threw it. And then I go, ‘Dude, I’m not rich. You’re rich.’ Cigarettes are expensive in New York City. I yell, and all of a sudden, your face changed, and you looked sad, and then you left,” Gutfeld continued.

The pair didn’t just talk about the past.

Gutfeld also plugged the new Fox Nation game show “What Did I Miss?”

Contestants are sequestered for 100 days and then are quizzed on recent news and asked if the headlines they are given are real or fake, per Variety.

Gutfeld then mentioned Trump, saying  “you never know what he’s going to do.”

“You wouldn’t even have to sequester people,” Fallon said.

“Gutfeld!” is aired 90 minutes before the other late-night shows like those hosted by like Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.

However, Gutfeld’s show touts a larger audience.
