Texas AG Look To Hold O’Rourke In Contempt

Well, well, well. It looks like Beto’s revolution just hit a legal brick wall — and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is the one holding the sledgehammer.

In a move that’s equal parts bold and long overdue, Paxton announced he’s seeking the arrest of none other than Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke — the left’s favorite failed Senate candidate, failed presidential candidate, failed gubernatorial candidate, and apparently now, aspiring fugitive funder-in-chief. That’s right. According to Paxton, Beto blatantly violated a court order barring him from raising money for the gang of Democrats who ditched their jobs and fled Texas to throw a tantrum over Congressional redistricting.

You remember that, right? Dozens of Democrat lawmakers boarded a private jet, maskless, with a case of Miller Lite like they were going on spring break, not evading their constitutional duties. And Beto — always the hype man for progressive circus acts — was right there with his checkbook open, promising to pay for their out-of-state vacation and keep the grift going.

Well, the courts had something to say about that. A judge in Tarrant County issued a restraining order to stop the cash flow. So what did Beto do? He walked right up to a microphone, stared directly into the face of the law, and told a crowd, “F*** the rules.” No, really. That’s a quote.

He then went on to encourage Democrat-led states to redraw their own maps — not to reflect population changes or follow the law, mind you — but to take seats away from Republicans. Because nothing says “democracy” quite like weaponizing redistricting for your side and throwing the rulebook into a bonfire.

But here’s where it gets spicy.

Ken Paxton isn’t playing. In a statement that sounded more like a boxing promo than a press release, he slammed Beto’s “vulgar disdain for the rule of law” and pointed out that when you’re a rich elitist who thinks laws are for other people, sometimes a jail cell is the only thing that gets the message across. “Beto told me to ‘come and take,’ so I did and beat him in court,” Paxton said. And now? He wants to make that win stick — with handcuffs.

BREAKING: I’m taking action to hold Robert Francis O’Rourke in contempt for violating a court order and scamming Texans.

Naturally, Beto fired back on X (because of course he did), accusing Paxton of lying and abusing his office. That’s rich coming from a guy who openly brags about defying a court order in public and thinks “maximum sanctions” means “hurt feelings.”

Meanwhile, the group at the center of this drama — Powered by People — continues to bankroll the Democrat exodus. Their mission? To “create long-term changes to the Texas electorate.” Translation: flood Texas with California-style politics until the Lone Star State turns into a progressive playground where accountability goes to die.

But the real kicker? These runaway Democrats are still gone. They blew past the House Speaker’s deadline, snubbed the 30-day special session, and now face daily fines and the looming threat of arrest if they so much as set foot back in Texas.

BREAKING: TX AG @KenPaxtonTX says that Beto O’Rourke OPENLY DEFIED a judges order to cease fundraising for the House Democrats who fled the state!

“The judge gave him a DIRECT order that (he) can no longer fundraise, and in his rally, he CLEARLY violated that order!”

Governor Abbott isn’t bluffing either. He’s promised to call special session after special session until the job gets done. And if these lawmakers want to keep hiding? Fine. But don’t expect a warm welcome when they finally crawl back across state lines. According to Abbott, the moment they touch Texas soil, it’s game over — they’ll be hauled straight to the Capitol like the petulant truants they are.

So here we are: one side enforcing the law, the other flipping it off on stage and playing victim when consequences come knocking.

The question now isn’t whether Beto violated the order. He told us he did. The only real question left is: Will Texas finally show him — and every elected official like him — that the rules still apply to everyone?

Or is this just the latest round in a political soap opera where the left gets to break the rules, cry foul, and spin the whole thing into a fundraising email?

Stay tuned. Because something tells us this showdown is far from over — and jail might just be the next stop on Beto’s long, losing tour.
