Former NFL player and current Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez, former quarterback for the New York Jets and current Fox Sports analyst, was stabbed Saturday in Indianapolis.
Fox News reported that Sanchez was in stable condition in a hospital in Indianapolis where Sanchez was scheduled to cover Sunday’s NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders.
“Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition. We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family’s privacy during this time,” Fox Sports said in a statement, which did not go into further details about the incident.

Sanchez, 38, worked for Fox Sports as an NFL analyst and broadcaster since 2021.
Sanchez spent 10 seasons in the NFL and was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. He was picked by the New York Jets.
After five seasons with the Jets, Sanchez played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and Washington.
