Podcaster Katie Miller says escalating threats from left-wing activists made it impossible for her young children to safely play outside, ultimately driving her family out of their Arlington, Virginia, home.

According to Fox News, Miller, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller, shared the experience Thursday on the “Ruthless” podcast.

Miller told the hosts that her family endured months of intimidation tied to her husband’s role in shaping President Donald Trump’s deportation strategy.

“There were people who drove by my home, there were people who sent us death threats, who knew where we lived, and it was no longer safe for our children to play in our front yard, or our backyard,” she said.

According to reporting from The Atlantic, the Millers recently moved into military housing due to the persistent protests and harassment outside their Arlington residence. The outlet noted that at least six senior Trump administration officials have made similar moves, citing safety risks for themselves and their families.

Local outlet ARLnow detailed some of the tactics activists allegedly used. Protesters distributed fliers listing the Millers’ home address and labeling Stephen Miller a “Nazi.”

Should harassment against public officials and their families be condemned?

A group called Arlington Neighbors United for Humanity also organized chalk protests on the sidewalk outside the family’s home, accusing him of “destroying democracy,” “kidnapping,” and “White nationalism.”

Miller said the harassment became unmanageable, especially with small children. “What happens when you have little kids who are impossible to get in and out of car seats?” she asked. “How many parents can relate to their kids chalking or learning to ride a bike… and your heads are not on a swivel looking around for who’s coming fast with a high-powered weapon? And that’s a society that we’re living in.”

She also described an encounter the morning after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was murdered. A person she said had previously taunted her returned to distribute “Wanted”-style fliers to neighbors.

“It leads you to only one conclusion when you’re doing that — 9:30 a.m. the day Charlie was murdered,” she said. “If their intention isn’t to intimidate, harass and scare, I don’t know what it is.”

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson condemned the threats, telling Fox News Digital: “Deranged leftist lunatics have targeted not only President Trump — who survived two assassination attempts — but also members of his administration as well.”

“Doxxing and any other actions that directly threaten the safety of officials and their families should be resoundingly denounced and thoroughly investigated,” Jackson added.
