President Donald Trump has released his own approval rating — and it is a lot higher than polls indicate.
Trump went on Truth Social Tuesday night to announce his approval rating is 64%, Mediaite reported.
On Tuesday night, Trump shared a graphic from Trafalgar, featuring an image of himself, along with text reading: “Over 50% of Voters Approve of President Trump.”
The president claimed that the polls are “rigged” — and not in his favor.
“The polls are rigged even more than the writers,” he wrote. “The real number is 64%, and why not, our Country is ‘hotter’ than ever before. Isn’t it nice to have a STRONG BORDER, No Inflation, a powerful Military, and great Economy??? Happy New Year!”
The Trafalgar Group released a new survey Tuesday which showed that 50.2% approve, compared to 45% who disapprove.
Gallup released a poll last week which had Trump “23 points underwater,” per the outlet.
Despite Trump’s assertion of a “great economy,” it appears some don’t think likewise.
Last month, Trump gave the economy an excellent grade.
“A-plus,” he said when asked about grading the economy. “A-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus,” adding he “inherited a total mess.”
A Fox News poll had Trump receiving his lowest approval rating on the economy. Only 38% of voters approved of his handling of the economy.
