Former President Donald Trump unloaded on far-left protesters who disrupted a Minnesota church service on Sunday, calling them “troublemakers” who should be jailed or kicked out of the country.
“Just watched footage of the Church Raid in Minnesota by the agitators and insurrectionists. These people are professionals! No person acts the way they act,” Trump posted to Truth Social early Tuesday. “They are troublemakers who should be thrown in jail, or thrown out of the Country.”
The confrontation unfolded at Cities Church in St. Paul, where anti-ICE protesters stormed the sanctuary during worship, chanting slogans like “Justice for Renee Good” and “ICE out of Minnesota.” The mob targeted the church because one of its pastors is employed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The protest was organized by the Racial Justice Network and Black Lives Matter Twin Cities. Among the agitators was William Kelly, a veteran leftist demonstrator known for targeting conservative leaders. Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was also present, livestreaming the action while claiming to be operating as an independent journalist.
Now, the Biden-era Justice Department—under pressure to enforce laws evenly—is preparing to file charges.

Should protesters who disrupted the church service face legal consequences?
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon told The Daily Wire that federal prosecutors flew to Minnesota on Monday. She also said that Don Lemon could potentially face legal consequences if it’s found he participated in a conspiracy to violate civil rights.
“I see various crimes that have occurred,” Dhillon said in an interview with Benny Johnson. “Exactly what they are I’m not going to flag, but the FACE Act has been mentioned.” She also noted that the Biden DOJ has previously used Klan-era conspiracy statutes to go after pro-life activists outside abortion clinics.
The FACE Act protects Americans’ right to worship freely without interference or threats. According to Dhillon, that right was violated on Sunday.
“You can’t just go wherever you want and tear things up and disrupt,” she added. “Now, people are afraid to go to church. And that is an absolute disgrace in this country.”
The incident is the latest example of how increasingly aggressive activism on the Left is pushing the boundaries of civil protest—this time straight into a Sunday church service.
