A chaotic street fight outside a bar in Thailand left two tourists hospitalized after they were overpowered by a much larger man in a confrontation captured on video.
According to the New York Post, the altercation unfolded Thursday in Pattaya, a seaside city often referred to as “Sin City” because of its reputation for nightlife, sex, and crime.
Footage circulating online shows a towering bodybuilder — believed to also be a tourist — swinging punches at two smaller men outside the bar.
During the clash, one of the men can be seen stumbling backward while trying to escape the muscular attacker, eventually slamming into a parked truck as he struggles to retreat.
The barefoot bodybuilder, dressed in a tight T-shirt and shorts that showed off his physique, appears to dominate the fight.
At one point in the video, he floors one of the men while continuing to swing wildly during the scuffle.
Local reports said the confrontation began shortly after the group left a bar in the area.
Witness Kittirach Sangprasert, 32, described the moment the violence erupted.
“Around two or three people tried to gang up on a tall, muscular foreigner who was with a Thai woman,” Sangprasert told Viral Press.
“But, even though there were more of them, they couldn’t overpower him.”
Both injured men — believed to be British tourists between the ages of 25 and 30 — were taken to a nearby hospital following the fight.
One suffered a dislocated hip and facial cuts, while the other was reportedly knocked unconscious during the confrontation.
Authorities say the investigation will continue once the injured men are able to speak with police.
Local police chief Jittisuk Suthenitatwong said officers will have to wait for the victims to recover before conducting formal questioning about what led to the violent clash.
