Comedian Adam Carolla rebuked left-wing critics of President Donald Trump on “The Adam Carolla Show” Monday, arguing the alternatives they presented were nowhere near as viable.
Carolla said on his show that it was unfair to juxtapose Trump with an ideal candidate when his past two opponents were former Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Joe Biden. The comedian called both Democrats “incompetent” and criticized their border policies.

“I just want to say to everyone who’s on the left, you know, Trump versus who? Like an incompetent, lying, duplicitous sack of shit who’s inert. Like Kamala Harris wasn’t going to do anything,” Carolla said. “The border would just fucking be wide open. The border would remain wide open. Like whatever you think of Trump, let’s not compare Trump to some sort of unicorn candidate that you built in a political lab.” “Let’s compare Trump to Biden and Kamala Harris.”
“Biden was a brain-dead, race-hustling, corrupt, serial-lying, incompetent guy who was basically a puppet who was falling asleep sitting next to George Floyd’s brother on the Juneteenth celebration on the lawn … only time that guy woke up was to take money from Ukraine for his fucking son because his family’s corrupt,” he added. “He has 35 shell companies. So what are you comparing Trump to? … And who basically left the border wide open so terrorists and god knows who else could all just spill across and create sleeper cells.”
The Biden-Harris administration reportedly presided over the highest level of net migration in American history after quickly undoing Trump’s policies to clamp down on illegal immigration. Carolla also called Harris “a dunce” and highlighted her proclivity for word salads, along with noting she backtracked on her far-left positions during her 2024 presidential campaign.
“She’s a dope. So, what are we comparing Trump to? … I know everyone’s sad, but let’s talk about what you would offer … If Kamala Harris was in charge right now, Iran would have a nuclear device and the border would be wide open and whatever terrorist cells want to come across the border with a suitcase bomb could do it because it’d be fucking wide open,” the comedian said. “So shut the fuck up! Shut up! You don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. You’re dumb.”
