Dramatic images of a powerful explosion in Isfahan quickly spread online after President Donald Trump posted video of the blast, drawing attention to a key site tied to the country’s nuclear program.
According to the New York Post, the footage, shared Monday on Truth Social, shows a massive fireball erupting into the sky following what was described as an airstrike targeting the city.
Isfahan is believed to house much of Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 60%, making it a focal point in ongoing tensions.
The clip is one of several circulating videos capturing fiery explosions across the area.
One widely shared recording appears to show a towering mushroom cloud rising over the strike zone, with the sky glowing red-orange as flames and smoke billow upward.
The intensity of the blasts was such that they were reportedly visible far beyond ground level.
According to the OSINTtechnical account on X, the explosions could even be seen from the Meteosat 12 weather satellite.
