Amber Heard is not finished with the legal battle against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Fox News reported the actress’s legal team has filed an appellate brief listing 16 grounds for appeal after a jury awarded Depp $10.3 million in damages following the defamation trial.
The documents filed earlier this week and obtained by the outlet outline the grounds for appeal including that the “court erred in admitting evidence at trial related to Ms. Heard’s pledge to donate money to charity and evidence related to Ms. Heard’s alleged abuse of third parties.”
Additionally, the brief claims the “court erred in excluding evidence at trial of Mr. Depp’s reputation as it existed prior to publication of the challenged op-ed and after the op-ed was published.”

The court battle between the couple began after Heard wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in 2018, describing surviving domestic violence.
Depp initially sued for $50 million in damages.
Heard then countersued for $100 million.
The jury awarded her $2 million in compensatory damages and $0 in punitive damages.
After disappearing for a few months, Heard recently resurfaced in Spain.
She was seen with her one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige, as Page Six reported.
Depp also recently made an appearance while taking photos with fans in New York.
The New York Post explained, “Clean-shaven with reflective blue sunglasses and a matching baker boy hat, the 59-year-old signed autographs and took selfies with fans outside the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, on Saturday night before his concert with musician friend Jeff Beck, 78.”
Last month, it was reported that Depp is dating his lawyer, Joelle Rich, who represented him in his UK libel trial.
An insider said at the time the couple’s “chemistry is off the charts,” adding, “It’s serious between them. They are the real deal.”
