Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani suggested he should be hired to find the culprit responsible for leaving cocaine in the White House over the weekend.
During a segment of “Eric Bolling The Balance” on Newsmax with host Eric Bolling, Giuliani criticized a response from a law enforcement official familiar with the situation who told Politico the suspect may never be found.
Initial reports of the incident indicate the cocaine was discovered in the library of the White House. However, later reports of the incident have said it was found “found in a cubby area” near the entrance of the West Wing.
“Why don’t they appoint me and give me a couple of um, of um, lie detector analysts, and a couple of– couple of forensic experts, and I’ll catch them,” said Giuliani on Thursday.

An “unknown” substance was said to have been found in the West Wing of the White House on Sunday night, causing an evacuation.
“We have a yellow bar stating cocaine hydrochloride,” a District of Columbia firefighter can be heard saying over an encrypted line around 8:49 p.m.
Initially it was reported that the cocaine was found in the library, however, Secret Service officials later said it was found in a “work area” on the ground floor of the West Wing near the visitor entrance, according to the Washington Post.
“We’ll first figure out everyone who went through that area,” Giuliani told Bolling of his plan to find the suspect. “It is not heavily trafficked,” Giuliani said, adding that it was “not Grand Central Station.”
The discovery of the substance has drawn speculation as to the connection between Hunter Biden and his history with drugs and legal issues and the cocaine that was found.
“The reality of them saying we may never find out who did this, well then what kind of security do we have in the White House?” Giuliani said.
Giuliani pointed out the strange way the location of where the cocaine was found kept changing.
“I’m not even sure it was there. The first notice was that it was in a library, and then remember the next day it was changed to it was in the waiting room,” he said.
On Thursday, NBC reported that officials involved in the ongoing investigation said the cocaine had been found in a cubby near the White House’s West Executive entrance.
“The cocaine was found in an entrance area between the foyer and a lower-level lobby,” sources told NBC News. The entrance area where the substance was found is close to where vehicles, “like the vice president’s limo or SUV park. It is one floor below the main West Wing offices and the same floor as the Situation Room and a dining area.”
While people such as former President Donald Trump have suggested the cocaine may belong to Hunter Biden, former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany shot down that theory, pointing out that Hunter Biden was away at Camp David over the weekend with President Joe Biden.
