A co-host of ABC’s “The View” is proposing a solution for former President Donald Trump to avoid jail time.
During a segment of the show on Thursday, co-host Joy Behar asked, “What about… if he makes a deal with [Special Counsel Jack] Smith without jail time. He’s says, ‘Look, I’m going away, I’m moving to Saudi Arabia.'”
“Wouldn’t that be good? Just go away. I don’t even care if he goes to jail,” she continued.
Finally, Behar added, “I don’t have it in my heart to punish the guy. I just want him to go away and stop ruining my country.”
Meanwhile, Sunny Hostin chimed in, “I think there are prosecutors that would offer him a plea agreement without time if he would agree to never run for public office again anywhere.”
“And go away. I don’t even want to see him,” Behar added.

Alternatively, Behar joked, “Maybe they should just put him in a room with just us.”

The exchange comes after Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted Trump for his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
Trump has insisted he did nothing wrong and called the charges “fake.”
