President Joe Biden’s “Transgender Day of Visibility” proclamation was met with backlash from conservatives — as it falls on Easter Sunday this year.
In his official proclamation, marking March 31, 2023, “Transgender Day of Visibility,” Biden called “upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”
The president added: “Today, we send a message to all transgender Americans: You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong. You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back.”

While this day is observed each year on March 31, since 2009, it did not go unnoticed that it falls on Easter Sunday this year.
Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas) noted “the most solemn Christian holiday of the year” was labeled “Transgender Day of Visibility.”
Additionally, per Fox News, which cites a flyer, an art event at the White House is not allowing children of the National Guard to include “any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements” when submitting Easter egg designs.
Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their outrage to the “shameful” proclamation.
Check it out:
Biden and the Democrats decided Easter – the Holy Day of our Savior’s Resurrection – as transgender day of visibility. There is no length Biden and the Democrats won’t go to to mock your faith, and to thumb his nose at God.

Everyone: Biden should really reach out to disaffected Republicans and center right conservatives who are uncomfortable with Trump.

Easter should not be named “Transgender Day of Visibility”

It is expected Biden would make an Easter announcement this year, as he did in 2023, when he acknowledged Easter Sunday as “a day of hope and joy, renewal and rebirth.”
He added at the time: “It marks the end of Lent, a period of sacrifice and contemplation. And it commemorates Christ’s Resurrection, a powerful reminder of God’s love and the promise of redemption for us all. … Today, we hold close the Easter message that nothing – not even death – can match the power of faith, hope, and love. And we remember Jesus’ sacrifice and recommit ourselves to love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves, embracing His call to treat one another with compassion.”
