A Canadian black bear showed interest in golf Monday when it was caught on video tearing into a golf bag before stealing it with one of the clubs.

Fox News shared the video, which has received 245,000 views already.
According to CTV News Vancouver, the group of golfers were at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club when they witnessed the scene in shock.
Karim Lalani recorded the video and noted that it was probably a mother bear seeking food for her cubs.
He also noted, “Ninety percent of the time they just mind their own business.”
“But when I saw it rip into the bag I said, ‘Okay this one’s a little bit aggressive,’ and that’s when I started backing away our cart from theirs and make a run for it if we have to,” he added.
The club’s ambassador, Jeff Peterson, admitted that bear sightings are common in the area and that staff are trained to handle bear situations but that he had never seen anything like this recent interaction.
He said, “I know they’re not going anywhere and we’re not going anywhere and we’re just going to try and make everybody live in peace together, hopefully.”
Golf analyst Amanda Rose posted her reaction to the video writing, “Bad dog!”

While this is the first time a bear has been caught stealing golf clubs before, wholesome content channel Pubity did recently share a video of a mother bear and her cubs perfecting their swing at a golf course.
