Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-La.) released the FD-1023 form allegedly implicating President Joe Biden in an influence-peddling scheme, per the Washington Examiner, and now calls to impeach the president are increasing.
The article notes FD-1023 forms include “raw, unverified” information from confidential sources to the FBI.
The House Oversight Committee spent months pressing the FBI to deliver the unclassified document, and the details within it are now being heavily debated.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) tweeted about the situation Thursday. She wrote, “Two GOP members have filed privileged motions to impeach Biden. One of the two has to call up the vote. Meaning they have to bring it to the floor thus forcing the vote.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Ky.) also posted a video Thursday following up his release of the FD-1023 to the American people.

He said, “I want the people to be able to read, the people of this country, to be able to read what I read three months ago so that they know.”
The FBI released a statement Thursday opposing the move to make the document public. They told Business Insider, “The safeguards the FBI placed on the production of this information are necessary to protect the safety of confidential sources and the integrity of sensitive investigations.”
They then added, “Today’s release of the 1023 [form] – at a minimum – unnecessarily risks the safety of a confidential source.”
