Comedian Chelsea Handler posted a video about what it looks like to live a day as a “childless woman,” sparking mockery from several on Twitter.
“I wake up at 12:30 p.m. and wake up for a busy day of doing whatever the f**k I feel like,” she says.
Handler continues, “I put on my most impractical and stylish shoes since I won’t be chasing a child around the grocery store.”
The video then shows her in an airplane flying over Paris.
“I do a meditation sesh on the plane since I have no screaming kids, allowing me all the time in the world to become enlightened,” Handler explains.
According to Handler, the weightlessness of her existence “has granted me superhuman powers.”
After teleporting herself back home, Handler gets “ready for a night out with whatever hot guy I met on Raya that morning.”
She proceeds to call a babysitter to tell her she will not need her because she still does not have children.
Handler then climbs Mount Everest, invents a time machine and kills Adolf Hitler.
“It’s amazing what you can do when you have this much free time,” Handler adds.

Professor Gad Saad said, “Being a parent can be difficult and painful but I would not trade being a father to my children for anything. My daughter just gave me a box of chocolate and flowers for Valentine’s. I’m the richest man for it.”

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro argued, “The best thing about this video is that it features her explaining that she can do whatever she wants as a person with no kids — and so she names a bunch of stuff she didn’t do, because her actual life consists of drinking a shitload of wine and being really, really sad.”

When you’re living such a hollow and self-absorbed life, you have to make videos of yourself trying to convince everyone how awesome it is. https://t.co/2hDlYifh2P

Nothing more pathetic than the coping done by a childless woman pushing 50. She could have had kids and still be doing basically whatever she wants with her life today. Kids aren’t toddlers forever. She could have her “freedom” and a family. Instead she’ll die alone. https://t.co/h0FBh4MzoP

Somewhat wealthy, liberal, white woman who is completely out of touch with normal people justifies her misery, anger, and loneliness with a poorly produced clip on a declining comedy show.

The video comes after she explained why it is okay for women not to have children.
“In America, and honestly, everywhere, motherhood is treated as a woman’s central purpose in life, as if our destiny is to let a tiny stranger rip a hole through our Pikachu from the inside out. And then as soon as we turn 18, we’re just supposed to sit back and wait for Nick Cannon to impregnate us,” Handler said while appearing as a guest host on “The Daily Show.”
She continued, “Childless women are seen as unfulfilled, unhappy, even the Pope has slammed us saying that not having children is selfish. First of all, I am not going to take procreation advice from a guy who’s never even penetrated anyone. Well, not that we know of anyway.”
