President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen is accusing him of making disparaging remarks about women and other various groups in his new book.
The Wall Street Journal reviewed a copy of Cohen’s book, “Disloyal: A Memoir,” ahead of the release date on Tuesday.
According to Cohen, Trump would “corner pretty women in his office and forcibly kiss them as they recoiled.”
Cohen wrote Trump described contestants in the Miss Universe contest as “the finest pieces of ass from every state and country.”
He recalled an experience he had with the president at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club in 2012, where Trump pointed to Cohen’s daughter and allegedly said, “Look at that piece of ass… I would love some of that.”
Cohen recounted Trump’s criticism of former President Barack Obama.
He explained after Obama’s inauguration, Trump made a video and hired a “Faux-Bama” and “ritualistically belittled the first Black president and then fired him.”
Cohen claims Trump said, “Tell me one country run by a Black person that isn’t a shithole” and “they are all complete f***ing toilets.”
He spoke to his handling of Trump’s alleged remarks.
“Don’t ask me how I squared this kind of racism with his qualifications to be president,” Cohen said.
He added, “I wanted power, as I’ve confessed, and that blinded me to just about everything awful and true and dangerous about Trump.”
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany slammed Cohen in a statement.
“Michael Cohen is a disgraced felon and disbarred lawyer, who lied to Congress. He has lost all credibility, and it’s unsurprising to see his latest attempt to profit off of lies,” she said.
Cohen returned to home confinement after a judge discovered he was a target of retaliation for his plans to publish a book, as IJR previously reported.
Cohen was sentenced in 2018 to three years in federal prison for lying charges and tax fraud.
