Former interim Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairwoman Donna Brazile is slamming Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel after being shown a clip in which McDaniel suggested that the Democratic Party is trying to rig the election against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

McDaniel said in a Tuesday morning interview on Fox News of the Democratic primary, “It is leading towards a brokered convention, which will be rigged against Bernie if those superdelegates have their way on that second vote.”

Brazile — who is now a Fox News contributor — shot back, saying, “I want to talk to my Republicans: stay the hell out of our race. Stay the hell out of our race. I get sick and tired … of listening to Republicans tell me and the Democrats about our process.”

Later she said, “For people to use Russian talking points to sow division among Americans, that is stupid, so Ronna, go to hell.”

“We are not trying to prevent anyone from becoming the nominee,” she continued. “If you have the delegates and win, you will win.”

Brazile closed out the segment by saying “stop using Russian talking points, Madam Chairwoman, period.”

Brazile seems to be referencing The Washington Post report that the Russians are reportedly working to boost Sanders in the Democratic primary in an effort to sow division.

Trump has repeatedly accused Democrats of conspiring against Sanders. In a tweet on Monday, Trump declared, “They are staging a coup against Bernie!”

McDaniel responded to Brazile’s remarks on Twitter, writing on Tuesday, “I’d be having a bad day too if my party was still hopelessly divided. Talk of a brokered convention and the DNC trying to stop Bernie obviously hit a little close to home.”

It’s ok, @donnabrazile.

As for a brokered convention, that still seems possible — the FiveThirtyEight predictions shifted after Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg dropped out of the presidential race, which is a move that boosted former Vice President Joe Biden. However, the model still has a brokered convention as the third most-likely outcome, after victories by Biden or Sanders.
