About magistrate

El término magistrado se utiliza en una variedad de sistemas de gobiernos y leyes para referirse a un oficial civil que administra la ley. En la antigua Roma, un magistratus era uno de los funcionarios gubernamentales de mayor rango, y poseía tanto poderes judiciales como ejecutivos.
