It appears there may be another Trump in the running to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

That Trump is first lady Melania Trump, according to Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.).

Luna said on Fox News Friday night that both the first lady and President Donald Trump should be considered for the award, per Mediaite.

“Look, President Trump just secured a win with some of the largest tax cuts in history,” Luna said. “Not to mention, he’s going to be capping prescription prices.”

She continued the plea for the president by citing the false narrative that Cambodian monks have nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.

“And also, he’s continuing to broker world peace, so much so that literally hundreds of monks have nominated him, including world leaders, for the Nobel Peace Prize,” Luna continued.

Fox’s Charlie Hurt then asked about the possibility of this happening.

“Do you think that the Nobel Peace Prize committee people will actually come around?” he asked. “At some point, I guess maybe they need him more than he needs them.”

“Most certainly,” Luna answered. “If the Nobel Peace Prize committee knows what’s good for them, they’d do the right thing and nominate [sic] him. But also, too, I think that Melania Trump might also have a nomination. I think that she’s been very instrumental in discussions with Russia. And also, too, I think that she’s going to be a key reason why we’re able to broker peace with Ukraine.”

The president has said he ended six wars in six months as he seeks the award.

In early August, Melania Trump penned a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin which her husband hand-delivered when the two met in Alaska.

She wrote of “protecting the innocence” amid the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The president has sought to bring peace to Russia and Ukraine as he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a separate meeting.

The likelihood of a ceasefire waned Thursday as Russia launched deadly drone and missile strikes on Kyiv. At least 23 people were killed.
