Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) is sending a “message” to President Joe Biden about Afghanistan.

In a tweet on Friday, Banks shared a photo of a new poster he put up outside his office that features a picture of Biden appearing to look at his watch during the dignified transfer of 13 U.S. service members who died in a suicide bombing in Kabul, Afghanistan, last month.

The poster reads, “It’s time to bring every American home!”

“A message for President Biden and [House Speaker Pelosi (D-Calif.)] outside of my office,” Banks wrote in a tweet.

In a separate tweet, the Indiana Congressman said, “It’s my goal that this poster will be a reminder to [Pelosi] & my Democrat colleagues who refuse to hold this admin accountable for the catastrophe in Afghanistan that left fellow Americans stranded behind enemy lines!”

“The USA leaves no man behind,” he added.

Biden has received criticism from many who say he broke his promise to not leave American citizens in Afghanistan after the withdrawal.

During an interview with ABC News in August, Biden was asked if American troops would stay in Afghanistan until every American citizen is able to get out.

“If there’s American citizens left, we’re gonna stay to get them all out,” he responded.

However, U.S. forces left Afghanistan on Monday, leaving behind up to 250 Americans who wanted to leave.

During remarks on Tuesday, the president said, “The bottom line: 90 percent of Americans in Afghanistan who wanted to leave were able to leave.”

According to The New York Post, it appears Biden misstated the percentage as “the official transcript released by the White House replaced the word ‘Ninety’ with a strikethrough and added ‘Ninety-eight’ in parentheses.

Additionally, a senior State Department official said that the U.S. left behind a “majority” of Afghans who applied for Special Immigrants Visas after assisting the war effort.
