Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) did not receive a warm welcome from some at an event with economist Paul Krugman on Monday.
During an event hosted at The City University of New York’s Graduate Center, one protester started the heckling by saying, “You know Pelosi, that’s a very good place for you, in the depths of hell.”
The protester continued, “For some reason, you have a very bad obsession of getting us into war. Hey, why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq? You lied us into a war in Iraq. You got us to invade Afghanistan. Now over 90 percent of those people are impoverished and are dying. Why don’t you tell the truth about Nordstream?”
He then went on to call Pelosi a “war criminal.”
Another protester chimed in, saying, “Hey congresswoman, I came to see a warmonger but you’re a sad old drunk! What happened? When you went to Taiwan, were you looking for Ukraine? Did we blow up the Nordstream on accident or on purpose?”
The protester also labeled Pelosi a “war criminal.”
He asked, “How many people have died in your f***ing name?”
The protesters were later ushered out of the room.

Pelosi is not the only Democrat that has been accused of being a war monger.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) was previously confronted over her support for Ukraine, as IJR reported.
“You voted to mobilize and send money to Ukrainian Nazis. You’re a coward,” the protester said during a live town hall event on legislative victories and opportunities for constituents in October.
He added, “I believed in you, and you became the very thing you sought to fight against. That’s what you’ve become. You are the establishment.”
