HGTV star Christina Hall opened up about her health struggles.
On Sunday, Hall took to her Instagram and shared she has been dealing with “unexplained health stuff” for years.
“Been super exhausted lately so on a kick to get back into my body. I’ve had some unexplained health stuff for years and now I’m considering the thought that this could be Breast implant related,” she wrote.
She also asked other women if they had any experience on the subject and listed multiple health issues that she has been facing.
“Some of my issues include: Inflammation, autoimmune issues (Hashimoto’s disease, PCOS, Raynaud’s syndrome), unexplained skin rashes, joint and muscle pain, dry eyes, GI issues, SIBO, acid reflux, brain fog, hormone imbalances, swollen lymph nodes and adrenal fatigue. I test positive for ANA,” she explained.
An ANA test is a blood test that searches for “antinuclear antibodies in your blood,” per Medline Plus.
Hall detailed the steps that she has been taking to improve her health.
“I’m gluten free and mostly dairy free. I had all my under eye filler dissolved as it was causing an inflammatory reaction as well. For now just working on detoxing and positive mind set,” she shared.
According to the National Center For Health Research, “in 2018 there were more than 50,000 women reporting a range of symptoms they refer to as “breast implant illness.””
Furthermore, 89 percent of women reported after removing their breast implants their symptoms improved.
Hall has spoken candidly about her health issues in the past.
In 2021, she shared on her Instagram she had suffered “extreme stomach pain” on and off since 2016.
“It has been written off as stress and doctors have tried to put me on all the pills / meds but luckily I realized masking it wasn’t the answer. I wanted to fix the problem so I really focused on my nutrition and it seemed to get better but then last year it was triggered again and all of a sudden the stomach pain was back,” she wrote.
Nonetheless, she concluded her post on a positive note.
“Focusing on getting back to taking care of myself, mind, body and spirit. And my favorite things in life like quality time with the kids and one-on-one time with my man.”
