Iran’s President Says Downing Ukrainian Plane an ‘Unforgivable Error’

Iran will punish all those responsible for the accidental shooting down of a Ukrainian passenger plane, President Hassan Rouhani said in a televised speech on Tuesday, adding that the “tragic event” would be investigated thoroughly.

“It was an unforgivable error … one person cannot be solely responsible for the plane crash,” he said.

“Iranian armed forces admitting their mistake is a good first step … We should assure people that it will not happen again,” he said, adding that his government was “accountable to Iranian and other nations who lost lives in the plane crash”.

I am sorry, maybe I confused you.

My point was that if King Donald The Loser had not assassinated the General, this passenger plane would not have been shot down. Clear enough?

  2. When Truman was president he said, “The buck stops here,” meaning that he was he one to be held accountable. Is Iran’s president honorable like Truman was? Will he be beheaded?

  3. Do you really think that the airliner would have been shot down without Dear Leader’s input? —General Confusion

GC: If you buy the idea that it was mere human error then why not? We are at war whether you chose to view it that way or not if Bush or Obama had taken care of the problem when presented in their respective watches then perhaps this would not have happened. Perhaps it would have… when you have worked all the kinks in your crystal ball let’s talk.

    1. You are asking a confused person for a logical answer? Is that even possible?

  4. Iran’s president allowed a missile battery to be armed and ready to shoot down planes over Iran.
The Ukrainian plane wasn’t just flying over Iran; it was taking off from, and flying away from, the capital of Iran.
The people at the missile battery should have known that planes were taking off, and the flight paths of those planes.
The people at the missile battery should have been able to tell, just by looking, that the plane was leaving Iran.
Either they were ordered to shoot down the plane or their training was lacking.
Iran’s president would be ultimately responsible for such orders.
Iran’s president would be ultimately responsible for lack of training.
Iran’s president is culpable. It’s his “Unforgivable Error.”
If “Iran will punish all those responsible,” Iran’s president also must be punished.

  5. I think the downing of the Ukrainian commercial jet was intentional on the part of Iran, and here is why. Looks like I am the only one connecting the dots and asking the questions. Was the Ukrainian jet the only one to take off during these missile launches? How long was it before a jet took off before the Ukrainian one did? What kind of relationship does Iran have with Russia? Were the missiles Russian made? We all have a pretty good idea what kind of relationship Russia has with Ukraine at this time. Russia ceded the Crimea not too long ago. Wasn’t another commercial jet shot down on the Russian and Ukraine border a few years ago and didn’t the Russian blame Ukraine for it? Sure it’s easy to blame Trump and his response to another attempted take over by Iranian supported terrorists. They would love to been able to take over this embassy like they did in Tehran and kept the peanut farmer in the Rose Garden for a year. Doesn’t anyone think that the Russians and Iran come up with this together while Trump is being falsely accused of made up crimes?

You are one very confused person.

  6. ** From the Article **
“It was an unforgivable error … one person cannot be solely responsible for the plane crash,” he said.

Unspoken: Unless that person is President Trump since,as we all are aware, he possesses mystic powers that enable him to control men’s minds and bodies as he did to the simpleton Iran says hit the button.

    1. Do you really think that the airliner would have been shot down without Dear Leader’s input?

      1. No, but Trump had no hand in it where the Iranian president did.
