Just last year Jamie Foxx was fighting for his life. This year, the actor is staging a comeback on many fronts after learning that “life is precious.”

The Academy Award-winning actor has vowed not to take anything for granted in his new lease on life.

“I’ve learned that life is precious, which is why it’s so important for us to go after what we want,” he said in an interview with Fox Business.

Part of his comeback includes his Brown Sugar Blend Whiskey.

“For me, being able to create a brand that brings people together to celebrate life and have fun was the ultimate goal. What more could I ask for? BSB Whiskey far exceeds my expectations. And thanks to WES Brands, I’ve been able to make that long-awaited dream a reality,” he said.

Foxx, 56, suffered what was referred to as a medical complication last April. The exact nature of this situation was never revealed.

However, IJR reported at that time what his daughter Corinne Foxx said in a post that has since been deleted.

“Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” she wrote.

Slowly, he has regained his health and is now back in the public eye after months of not being seen while he recovered.

“I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through,” he said on Instagram in July. “I know a lot of people were waiting, or wanting to hear updates, and to be honest with you – I just didn’t want you to see me like that.”

Now, he is ready to live life again.

“I’ve been sick, man, but now, I’ve got my legs under me, so you’re going to see me out,” he said. “I’m here on Earth because of some great people. I’m here on Earth because of God.”

Another part of his comeback is returning to co-hosting “Beat Shazam,” a game show on Fox. His daughter his daughter, Corinne Foxx, is his co-host on the show that will return May 28, per Fox Business.

Fox also has hinted that he’s ready to do some stand-up comedy.

“Going to get on somebody’s stage somewhere near you. I got some jokes, and a story to tell…,” he posted on Instagram, per Fox Business.

And then, there’s BSB Whiskey where he is owner and creative director.

And added to the busy star’s resume is his work as creative director.

Brown Sugar Blend Whiskey is described as a blend of whiskey with brown sugar and a little cinnamon, per Fox Business.

The bottle, much like Foxx, stands out “‘BSB’ letter patch that glows in the dark.”

“BSB is perfect for sipping and ideal for sharing. At its core, it is an inclusive spirit. I enjoy it best in a neat glass while celebrating with friends. BSB, to me, is and will always be best enjoyed in good company.”

He also took to X, formerly Twitter, to show off the product.
