Following their Las Vegas elopement, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck said “I do” again in front of family and friends.
The wedding took place on Saturday at Ben Affleck’s 87-acre property in Georgia with guests dressed in all white, except for Ben Affleck who wore black tuxedo pants and bow tie, the Washington Examiner reports.
Matt Damon, Ben Affleck’s longtime friend, and his wife attended the ceremony, along with director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes with their wives, according to Page Six.
Casey Affleck, Ben Affleck’s brother did not attend the nuptials, but did “welcome” Jennifer Lopez into the family with a post on his Instagram.
“Good things are worth waiting for. Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love. Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding.
Jen, you are a gem. We love you so much!!” he wrote alongside a throwback photo of him, his brother, and Jennifer Lopez together.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were first engaged in 2002 and eventually ended their engagement in 2004, according to People.
They rekindled their romance in 2021 which was confirmed on Jennifer Lopez’s Instagram where they are seen kissing.
The couple got engaged again in April 2022 and in July 2022 they were remarried.
Jennifer Lopez confirmed her marriage in her “On the JLo” newsletter, writing, “We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”
Jennifer Lopez spoke to People for their 2022 Love Issue in February about her relationship with Ben Affleck.
“I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that’s happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. … We hold it sacred,” she said.
