Actor Johnny Depp is experiencing success to the tune of millions when it comes to his art collection.

According to People Magazine, Depp raked in over $3.6 million after his release of 780 prints through London’s Castle Fine Art gallery.

The prints reportedly sold out “almost immediately.”

The gallery also tweeted, saying Depp’s “debut collection ‘Friends & Heroes’ is now officially sold out. This world-first release proved to be our fastest-selling collection to date, with all titles selling out in just hours.”

The gallery’s website explained, for Depp, “There has always been art. Before acting, and before music, art has always been an important outlet for his creativity.”

The website continues, “While his acting repertoire is the foundation for his fame, the recent reception to his music with Jeff Beck has encouraged him, and emboldened him, to share his art.”

Depp’s collection focuses on individuals he “has known well, and who have inspired him as a person.”

The gallery stated that each image is “an intimate reflection of their character in Johnny’s eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him. From his dear friend Keith Richards, who inspired the mannerisms of the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow, to Bob Dylan, whose creative influence on the artist is seen in his vivid and immortal portrayal by Johnny.”

People noted each portrait is listed online for the price of $3,973.

Additionally, there is the set of four on sale for $15,040.

In a statement shared by the gallery, Depp said, “I’ve always used art to express my feelings, and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire.”

He added, “My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.”

The collection comes after Depp won his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
