The jury deciding the fate of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ will resume deliberations Wednesday morning after reaching a verdict on four of five counts against him.

Combs is facing charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. The jury came back with a partial verdict around 4:18pm ET, Fox News reported.

The jury said it could not reach a unanimous decision on the racketeering charge, which could result in a 20-year sentence. The sentence for the transportation to engage in prostitution charge is up to 10 years. Sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion may result in a 20-year sentence.

According to Judge Arun Subramanian, a partial verdict is not an option to end the trial. The judge had a portion of the charge read to the jury again.

Subramanian told the jury members it was their duty to discuss the case amongst themselves and form opinions. He said they must reach a unanimous verdict. He added they “must not give up their convictions merely to return a verdict or satisfy the rest of the jurors,” per the outlet.

Deliberations will start again at 9 a.m. ET Wednesday.

The jury started to deliberate Monday after the seven-week trial that included 34 witnesses for the prosecution.

The defense did not call any witnesses.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He faces life in prison if convicted.

He was arrested in September 2024, after Homeland Security raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes.
