Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway believes she knows just what Rosie O’Donnell needs — “a hug or a husband.”
Conway offered her advice for O’Donnell on “The Five” Tuesday.
O’Donnell, a longtime Trump antagonist, posted a TikTok video calling for Trump’s removal as president via the 25th Amendment, which allows a majority of cabinet members to strip a president of his powers and appoint the vice president as acting president.
“When are they gonna do the 25th Amendment?” asked O’Donnell, who has lived in Ireland after Trump returned to the White House. “That’s the question. He needs to be stopped.”
On Tuesday’s show, Conway, a former adviser to Trump, said in next year’s midterm election, Democrats need to bring more to the table than merely being against Trump.
“They have absolutely nothing from the 2024 shellacking that they suffered, where Trump won the popular vote, all seven swing states,” she said. “If I were the Democratic Party, I would try to learn from that. I’d try to work with the president when I can on things.”
Conway then focused her commentary towards O’Donnell, who came out as a lesbian in 2002.
“Just one question I’ve never tried on Rosie O’Donnell on the left. Don’t you have anybody who loves you? You need a hug or a husband or a hairy dog,” Conway said. “Get yourself some help, because this woman last week, she referred to Trump as a ‘blob.’ A slob calling someone else a blob.”
And even though she is living in Ireland, she is still living with “Trump derangement syndrome,” Conway said.
“By the way, she moved to Ireland, but she never moved on. And that’s the problem. I live with Trump derangement syndrome. It’s toxic, chaotic, and sometimes frightening,”Conway continued. “But I’ll tell you, a lot of Democrats don’t like it. They feel like they’re gonna get beat in 2028 if their only message is ‘Trump, Trump, Trump.’”
Watch:
Regarding her suggestion of Trump derangement syndrome, Conway could be talking about ex-husband George Conway, who was anti-Trump.
