King Charles III has not died.

That is according to several British embassies that spent Monday shooting down the rumor of the monarch’s passing, according to The Hill.

“We would like to inform you that the news about the death of King Charles III is fake,” a social media account for the British embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, posted Monday on X, formerly Twitter.

The British embassy in Azerbaijan also posted Monday, writing, “We inform that the reports about the death of King Charles III are fake!”

The statements are in response to online and Russian media reports that the king had died.

King Charles, 75, has not been well since he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

This is the latest in a barrage of untrue reports and speculation regarding the royal family.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, has been the target of much of the speculation since she has rarely been seen since undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

An edited Mother’s Day photo of Kate and her three children were pulled from news agencies, such as the Associated Press, because “it appeared the source had manipulated the image in a way that did not meet the AP’s photo standards,” The Hill reported.

Kate took the blame.

“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” Kate said in a statement issued by Kensington Palace after the photo was retracted, The Hill reported.
