Reality star Kylie Jenner addressed the beauty standards she and her family have set.
In the season three trailer for their show “The Kardashians” on Hulu, which aired on April 27, Jenner, 25, confronted her sisters about the part they all have played in today’s beauty standards.
“All of us just need to have a bigger conversation about the beauty standards that we’re setting,” she said.
Jenner mentioned her daughter, Stormi, 5, and said that she didn’t want her “to do the things” she did.
In the trailer, Jenner sat down with a friend and implied that she regretted her beauty procedures.
“I wished I never touched anything, to begin with,” she admitted.
In an interview with HommeGirls Volume 9, the mother of two revealed how motherhood has given her a new perspective on beauty.
She shared:
“Oh, it’s changed so much. It’s made me love myself more. I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me. I get to see my beauty in her, and it’s made me love myself more for sure. Beauty is always changing for me.”
The beauty mogul proceeded to address judgment she received over her rumored plastic surgery.
“I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t! Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room,” she explained.
Continuing, she said, “I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done.
Jenner empathized that she doesn’t regret the enhancement and always thought she “was cute.”
She also shared what beauty advice she would give to her little girl.
“That she’s perfect the way that she is. Be confident, always be confident in yourself,” she said.
