Former Arizona gubernatorial hopeful Kari Lake is signaling she is not ready to give up on her political aspirations.

While Axios reported in March former President Donald Trump sees Lake as a potential vice presidential pick, she appears to have her eyes on another office for the time being.

During an interview with One America News, the failed gubernatorial candidate shared she is looking at running for Senate in Arizona in 2024.

“I am seriously considering a run for Senate, yes absolutely,” Lake said.

She went on:

“Just because they stole an election… we’re so dangerous to them, I’m so dangerous to the status quo and this rotten swamp that they’re willing to steal an election to stop me and our movement. I’m not letting them get away with that. We’re not going away. And so I am seriously considering a run for Senate.”

Lake added, “All the polling shows that I would win. Not just the primary, the polling is showing that I would beat Kyrsten Sinema and this socialist guy that’s running for the Democrat.”

Her comment referred to Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) who announced his campaign for Senate after Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) chose to register as an independent.

FiveThirtyEight’s compilation of early polls shows Gallego repeatedly beating Lake or tied in the race.

Lake has previously stated she was “entertaining” the prospect of a Senate run but said she had other priorities.

“I am entertaining it,” she told conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

However, she stated that her “number one priority” is her court case challenging her gubernatorial election loss.

She added, “I’m also looking at what happens if we don’t get a decent ruling in that. And they want me to go away… And if they want us gone so badly that they’re willing to steal an election, then I’m not going to let them have that. I won’t go away.”

Lake also alleged political operatives tried to bribe her to stay out of politics.

“They came to my door and they tried to bribe me out of getting out of politics. It really happened. I’m telling you this because this is how disgusting politics is,” she said during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

She added, “They tried to bribe me with a job title, with a huge salary, a position on a board. This is how they do it.”
