A woman identified only as Jane Doe has filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles, accusing actor Crispin Glover of battery, fraud, and a series of other alleged offenses.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News, the complaint describes a relationship that Doe says began online years ago and escalated after she moved from the United Kingdom to California.

She claims she was promised employment and housing if she agreed to work as Glover’s assistant in the entertainment industry.

Instead, the lawsuit alleges she was “essentially held captive and used for sex and free labor.”

According to the filing, Glover “lured and manipulated Jane Doe into abandoning her home and belongings in the U.K. for work with him as his assistant in the entertainment industry.”

The woman said she sold her possessions and relocated to Los Angeles, expecting both a job and a place to live.

The situation quickly changed after her arrival, the lawsuit claims. Doe alleges she was placed under strict control and monitoring inside the home and pressured into serving as what the complaint describes as a “live in girlfriend/sex slave.”

“But when Ms. Doe took the bait and uprooted herself and moved to Los Angeles, she found herself in a disturbing situation where Mr. Glover wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve him as a live in girlfriend/sex slave,” documents stated.

Doe says tensions escalated after she refused what she called “increasingly bizarre and inappropriate demands.” She alleges she was then unlawfully evicted and that Glover filed what she describes as a false police report and a fraudulent restraining order petition.

“He then filed a malicious and fraudulent petition for a restraining order against her, which was swiftly dismissed for failure to prosecute,” the lawsuit states.

The complaint also references an alleged physical confrontation. Doe claims that after she left the home to attend a mosque in March 2024, she returned to find herself locked out and told to find somewhere else to live.

When she attempted to reenter, she alleges Glover “attacked her, grabbing her neck and choking her in a headlock, leaving a visible wound and scar on her neck.”

She further claims police were called, and she was portrayed as an intruder despite being a tenant.

Doe says that after the restraining order was dismissed, Glover continued contacting her and attempting to pressure her into a sexual relationship.

The lawsuit also references earlier meetings between the two, including an encounter in Dresden, Germany, where she claims Glover displayed Nazi memorabilia from his collection.

Doe alleges she is now homeless and suffering emotional trauma as a result of the events. In addition to battery and fraud, she is suing for malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, Bane Act violations, and wrongful eviction.
