They found Givuan and tried life-saving measures before he was pronounced dead at the scene where about 30 bullet casings found.

Lead Pastor Russell Johnson of The Pursuit NW posted about the tragedy on X.

“A man was murdered in front of his wife and son while walking in to our church tonight,” he wrote. “They turned the house of God into a crime scene. I am outraged.”

An independent journalist acquired a surveillance video of the shooting that happened as a young adult service and barbecue were about to start.

#EXCLUSIVE: I have obtained the surveillance video showing the gang-land style shooting that claimed the life of Pursuit Seattle church member Lebron Givaun. The shooter is still on the run and was last seen in this white Hyndai Thursday evening. 🧵👇pic.twitter.com/dhiVVwhBEa
