Metro Detroit News shared video on X showing the aftermath inside the terminal after the crash. Authorities had not publicly explained what caused the driver to crash into the airport as of publication.

: A man drove a car into the McNamara terminal at Detroit Metro Airport.The driver crashed into the terminal just before 8 p.m. EST. CBS News Detroit captured footage showing the vehicle inside the building near the Delta Air Lines check-in area.
Delta Air Lines said the incident caused no injuries and did not affect flight operations, CBS News reported. Emergency responders evaluated three employees after they came into contact with debris.
