Former First Lady Melania Trump’s memoir, “Melania,” will be released in the fall.
The book has been billed by her office as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence,” ABC News reported.
Trump has been noticeably absent from the campaign trail as her husband, former President Donald Trump, seeks to return to the White House.
This is her first memoir.
“Melania” will be released by Skyhorse Publishing.
This publisher has published works by Donald Trump supporters such as former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz.
Melania Trump’s office announced the memoir on Thursday by her office.
A specific release date was not announced and it is not clear when it will come out in relation to the election.
The former first lady “invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life,” according to the announcement. “‘Melania’ includes personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public.”
There was no mention of financial terms, promotional plans or if there was a co-author.
Melania Trump is Donald Trump’s third wife and has shied away from the spotlight as she focused on raising their son Barron.
She also promoted her “Be Best” initiative created to support the “social, emotional, and physical health of children.”
The memoir will come in two versions: a $150 “Collector’s Edition,” 256 pages, “in full color throughout, with each copy signed by the author,” and a “Memoir Edition,” 304 pages, including 48 pages of never-before-seen photographs, according to her office.
The book is listed at $40, with signed editions going for $75.
Both editions can be pre-ordered exclusively through her web site, MelaniaTrump.com.
