Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is accusing President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, of cowardice.
On Wednesday, lawmakers met for a hearing for a resolution on whether to hold Hunter Biden in contempt for defying a subpoena last month, and he decided to make a surprise appearance.
A video of the moment showed Greene being recognized to speak for five minutes during the hearing.
At the same time, Hunter Biden was seen getting up and walking out of the hearing room.
Greene, noting his departure said, “Excuse me, Hunter, apparently you’re afraid of my words.”
“I think it’s clear and obvious for everyone watching his hearing today that Hunter Biden is terrified of strong, conservative, Republican women,” she asserted.

Later in the hearing, Greene ripped the younger Biden for sitting “here with a smug look on his face” and then leaving before she could speak.
“Not only is he a criminal, but he is a coward!” she insisted.

In a post on X, she wrote, “Hunter Biden just walked in our Oversight hearing to hold him in contempt. Hunter can’t follow the law! Showing up after he’s broken the law by violating his subpoena is not following the law, Hunter must follow the law!! All Hunter has done is break the law.”

The hearing came after Hunter Biden chose to travel to the Capitol last month, but not sit for a deposition. Instead, he chose to defy a subpoena and blast House Republicans’ investigation into the Biden family, as IJR reported.
