Tension is reportedly building behind the scenes for Tiger Woods following his recent arrest, with his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, said to be drawing a firm line.
According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Trump has made it clear she expects immediate changes after the incident.
“She’s not happy at all. She’s both disappointed and a little bit pissed, if I’m being honest,” the insider said.
The source described the situation as a turning point in their relationship, adding that Trump is demanding accountability.
“It’s a definite red flag, and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out and that she’s going to require that,” the source added.
“He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.”
The insider characterized Trump, 48, as someone setting clear expectations in the wake of the controversy.
“She’s a concerned girlfriend expressing boundaries and saying that he’s got to get his s*** together, like right now.”
Woods, 50, is reportedly remorseful as he deals with the fallout.
“He’s embarrassed, he’s mortified at all this,” the source continued. “And this is really humiliating for it to happen again. And Vanessa is embarrassed, too. All her friends are like, ‘Girl, what the hell?’”
Despite the headlines, Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., has not publicly addressed the arrest. She returned to social media over the weekend, sharing a video of her eldest daughter, Kai, without mentioning the situation.
The couple, who were first linked romantically last March, had recently been seen together at a golf match, where they showed public displays of affection.
The arrest itself followed a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday afternoon.
Police said Woods registered a negative result on a breathalyzer test but showed “signs of impairment.”
Authorities ultimately took him into custody after he refused “a urinalysis test, leading to charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.”
Images taken after his release showed Woods appearing subdued. In one photo, the golfer sat in the front seat of an SUV, looking visibly disappointed as he left the Martin County jail.
