House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) snapped back at a reporter for questioning her about a report surrounding Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.
A reporter asked Pelosi if she is responding in any way to a New York Post report alleging Hunter Biden introduced his father to an executive for Ukrainian energy company Burisma while he was still in office.
Pelosi grew frustrated and interrupted the reporter.
“I’m sorry I’m not answering your questions, OK. We’re talking about the coronavirus,” Pelosi said.
She added, “I don’t have all day for questions, that’s what we’re taking now.”

Biden spokesman Andrew Bates denied the allegations in a statement he issued to Politico hours after the report was published, as IJR previously reported.
“Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as ‘not legitimate’ and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing. Trump Administration officials have attested to these facts under oath,” Bates said.
He continued, “Moreover, we have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.”
Biden told a reporter from CBS “it’s another smear campaign.”
During an interview with a local Wisconsin television station, Biden answered a question about a statement by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) suggesting Biden family members were profiting from the Biden name.
He said Johnson “should be ashamed of himself.”
Biden called the allegations a “last-ditch effort” by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
During Tuesday’s “Fox & Friends” phone call interview, Trump called on Attorney General William Barr to investigate Hunter Biden, as IJR previously reported.
However, during an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt on Wednesday, White Hosue Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said an investigation is “not necessarily at the top of our priority list.”
