When Prince Harry talks about royalty, one may assume he knows what he is talking about.

But the real-life prince took time to make fun of Americans for electing President Donald Trump as “king.”

Prince Harry made a cameo appearance on Wednesday’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Fox News reported.

The prince jokingly expressed his desire to play the “Gingerbread Prince” in a fictional Hallmark Christmas movie.

“Well, you Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?” Prince Harry said.

“Hold on, I wouldn’t say we’re obsessed with royalty,” Colbert retorted.

The prince’s comment echoes back to October’s “No Kings” protest, when people held anti-Trump rallies.

Harry found it ironic that Americans would elect Trump as “king” after “making such a big deal about my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather, George III,” – who was king during the American Revolution.

Do you think Prince Harry's comments about Trump as 'king' were acceptable?

“Well, he was kind of a jerk,” Colbert said.

“OK, let it go,” Harry responded.

The prince then asked Colbert what he needed to do to convince Americans to cast him in a Hallmark film. He said he would even sue the Trump administration.

“I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition, settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House – all the things you people on TV do,” he said.

That line was in reference to CBS, which settled with Trump earlier this year. Trump sued CBS for allegedly editing its interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris before of the 2024 election.

Colbert chided Harry’s line about suing Trump, saying, “I didn’t do any of those things,” Colbert said, referencing suing Trump.

“Maybe that’s why you’re canceled,” Harry answered, regarding at CBS’ announcement that Colbert’s show would be canceled next spring.
