The Pro Football Hall of Fame is in damage control mode after a shocking leak revealed that coaching legend Bill Belichick failed to secure enough votes for induction into the 2026 class. Because whether you’re a Belichick believer or not, it’s hard to ignore the fact that one of the most decorated coaches in NFL history — a man with eight Super Bowl rings — didn’t clear the 40-vote threshold. And while that’s controversial enough, the real firestorm is being fueled by the leak itself.
Insiders say the final list of inductees was supposed to be locked up tighter than a playoff defense. But someone with access spilled the beans early, and the backlash has been fierce. Legendary Cowboys coach and current Fox Sports analyst Jimmy Johnson was among the first to lash out, declaring that he’ll skip the Hall of Fame ceremony in protest of the Belichick snub.
