So let’s get this straight: while Democrats are busy preaching about “restoring dignity to public office,” their top-tier candidates and government prosecutors are out here getting arrested half-naked, shouting slurs, claiming to be deities, and trying to lawyer their way out of police custody in waterfront restaurants.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Let’s start in the charming coastal town of Newport, Rhode Island—where Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan Hogan decided the law was for other people. After a reportedly tipsy night at the Clarke Cooke House (that’s the swanky kind of place that screams “elite liberal vibes”), Hogan was asked to leave. She refused.

Not just once. Not twice. Repeatedly.

And when the police showed up to de-escalate the situation? That’s when things got even classier.

“I’m an AG! What’s your probable cause to detain me?” she barks, as if throwing around her job title like a badge of invincibility is totally normal behavior. Oh, and in case the cops missed it the first time, she made sure to add: “You’re going to regret this.”

Yes, a government prosecutor threatening the police officers who dared to treat her like an ordinary citizen. How very progressive.

Then there’s her friend—Veronica Hannan—who decided to help by chirping, “She’s a lawyer!” in the background. Because apparently, in certain Democrat circles, legal credentials are supposed to grant you immunity from basic public decency laws.

And yes, Hogan also demanded the officers turn off their body cameras. Because transparency only matters, you see, when it’s someone else being held accountable.

Full bodycam footage released of Rhode Island Special Assistant AG Devon Flanagan and her friend being arrested for trespassing.

Flanagan was seen getting a police car door shut in her face after she and her friends mentioned about 20 times that she is an AG.

But that’s just Act One.

Let’s zip down the coast to Charleston, South Carolina, where Democrat gubernatorial candidate William “Mullins” McLeod—another high-ranking lawyer, by the way—was recently revealed to have been arrested in May… in his underwear.

Not a joke. Not a metaphor. Not a wardrobe malfunction. He was out in public, screaming at the top of his lungs, wearing just underwear and shoes.

Oh, and also high. Allegedly.

Police say his behavior was “typical of an individual under the influence of a stimulant narcotic.” He called himself “God” and “Superman,” hurled racial slurs, and threatened to assault political opponents. This man—this father of four—told officers he was “one of the most just humans to ever walk this soil.”

You’d think Democrats would slam the brakes. Pull him from the race. Start damage control. Instead? Crickets. A few calls to step down, sure. But no mass outrage. No wall-to-wall coverage on MSNBC. No hand-wringing op-eds in The Atlantic.

Now imagine—just for a second—that a Republican candidate pulled any of this. Arrested half-naked, spouting the n-word, claiming to be a superhero sent from the heavens, threatening to “kick someone’s teeth in.”

CNN would break into programming. The View would cry on-air. And every Never-Trumper with a blog would get carpal tunnel from typing so fast.

But when Democrats melt down? When their lawyers and candidates publicly unravel on bodycam footage? Somehow, it’s all “under review” or “no comment.”

Devon Flanagan Hogan still has a job, by the way. Employed at the Attorney General’s Office since 2018. No disciplinary action announced. No governor’s statement. No suspension. Nothing.

Meanwhile, average Americans are expected to just smile and nod while these same people lecture them about ethics, equity, and accountability.

It’s always rules for thee, but not for me.

They claim the moral high ground—while literally screaming at cops in their boxers and demanding immunity because of their job titles.

And if this is how they act in public, on camera, what exactly do you think happens behind the scenes—off the record, behind closed doors, with no bodycam footage to keep them honest?

Just something to think about next time they call you a threat to democracy.
