Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne is opening up about why he is leaving the United States with his wife.

Ozzy Osbourne spoke with The Observer during an interview about his health struggles and plans to leave their Los Angeles mansion behind. They plan to move to the U.K. in February, per the outlet.

The outlet reported that the couple is selling their mansion for $18 million.

Ozzy Osbourne’s wife, Sharon Osbourne, addressed concerns that the move had to do with her husband’s health.

“I knew people would think that. It’s not. It’s just time. America has changed so drastically. It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now,” she said.

Ozzy Osbourne added, “Everything’s f***ing ridiculous there. I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It’s f***ing crazy.”

According to the rock star, he does not want to “die in America. I don’t want to be buried in f***ing Forest Lawn.”

Pointing out that he is English, Ozzy Osbourne told the outlet, “I want to be back. But saying that, if my wife said we’ve got to go and live in Timbuktu, I’ll go.”

This is not the first time that Ozzy Osbourne has spoken out on the issue of politics.

In August 2020, he criticized the former president’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Are they making the right decision by leaving the U.S.?

“It’s getting worse, not better. And this guy’s acting like a fool. I don’t really like to talk politics that much, but I’ve got to say what I feel with this guy. There’s not much hope left. Maybe he’s got a trick up his sleeve and he’s going to surprise us all, and I hope he has,” Osbourne said.

Commenting on his health in the recent interview, Osbourne explained, “Since I had my [first neck] surgery and everything got f***ed up, it’s been three or four years since I’ve performed.”

He added, “And I was thinking it’ll never happen again. But that show’s given me a bit of hope.”

The legend recently performed in England.

Sharon Osbourne told the outlet that they had to previously say no to a performance six months ago.

The Observer noted Ozzy Osbourne showed up at Comic-Con in San Diego last month.

“They called six days before the gig and said: ‘Do you think Ozzy could do it now?’ And I said to him: ‘Can you do it?’ He said yeah, and that was it. Six days, turned it around, booked the flight, got everybody together,” Sharon Osbourne said.

According to Ozzy Osbourne, he told his wife, “‘I can’t f***ing perform.’ She said: ‘Are you sure?’ And I thought about it, and I thought: ‘F**k it, I’m gonna go for it.’ It’s one song – and I’ve sung it every fucking night for the last 55 years, so it’s not like I’m going to forget the f***ing words!”
