Savannah Guthrie: ‘We Still Have Hope’

TUCSON, ARIZONA - FEBRUARY 15: People pay their respects at a makeshift memorial outside of Nancy Guthrie's residence on February 15, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. Searches continue for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of U.S. journalist and television host Savannah Guthrie, after she went missing from her home on the morning of February 1st. The search enters its 3rd week with law enforcement officials claiming to have found several items of evidence, but having made no arrests. (Photo by Brandon Bell/Getty Images)

Savannah Guthrie released another video and stated the family still has “hope” that her 84-year-old mom Nancy Guthrie will return home safely.

Nancy Guthrie has been missing since Feb. 1 after she was apparently kidnapped from her Tucson, Arizona, home.

“It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken, and I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope and we still believe,” Guthrie said Sunday night in an Instagram post. “And I wanted to say to whoever has her or knows where she is that it’s never too late… you’re not lost or alone. And it is never too late to do the right thing.”

“We believe in the essential goodness of every human being. And it’s never too late,” she added.

This video marks the fourth posted by Guthrie since her mom was reported missing.

In previous videos, her brother Camron Guthrie and sister Annie Guthrie appeared by her side. In this video, she was alone.

Investigators are examining DNA evidence gathered from a Range Rover and from a glove found about two miles away from Nancy Guthrie’s home.

Local CBS 5 true crime reporter Briana Whitney reported Sunday that investigators believe the case is due to a “burglary gone wrong” and that there is “widespread belief” Nancy Guthrie is still alive.

NBC News reported “authorities are leaning away from several people previously scrutinized, including the man whose home was searched Friday night, a man named Carlos who was stopped in a car last week and any of Guthrie’s relatives.”

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified as of Sunday evening.
