The Secret Service announced Wednesday that a small child had slipped through the White House gate.
According to The Hill, the child can be seen on video being carried by agents after getting onto the grounds.
“Just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers observed a child slip through the White House north fence. Officers quickly reunited the child with their parents without incident,” Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi wrote on social platform X.

The Hill further reported that this is not the first time that a child has managed to get in through the fencing near the White House in 2023, and another person was arrested a month prior to President Donald Trump taking office after they tried to climb the anti-scale fencing.
