“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin wants to know if a Republican senator is a “weirdo” for her response to the State of the Union.
During a segment of the show on Monday, Hostin inquired about Sen. Katie Britt’s (R-Ala.) personality.
She turned to Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former aide to former President Donald Trump, and asked, “You know her, is she like a weirdo?”
“I don’t know her personally,” Griffin responded.

Hostin then turned to Ana Navarro and asked, “Do you know her, is she a weirdo like that?”
“I sure as hell don’t know her,” Navarro shot back.
However, she noted she had seen Britt in some interviews and, “I thought she was supposed to be the normal wing of the Republican Party… and she was so bad even Republicans thought she was so bad.”
“And I think what ‘SNL’ should have done, what would have been really funny, is if they had actually played her speech. Because it was so comical and horrifying at the same time that they didn’t need to do anything,” she added.
Britt has faced criticism and mockery for her deliverance of her response to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech, with “Saturday Night Live” featuring a sketch poking fun of. It also received a mention during the Oscars on Sunday night.
