Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Friday evening urged Democratic Party strategist and fellow Fox panelist Jessica Tarlov to tell her “people” to “stop firebombing” Tesla facilities.
Protests against billionaire Elon Musk and his electric vehicle company Tesla erupted this month, with some charging stations being graffitied and set on fire. While discussing the protests over Musk’s involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), “The Five” panelist Judge Jeanine Pirro called out Democrat lawmakers who have previously condemned domestic terrorism but have remained silent about the attacks on Musk’s company.
“OK, Jessica, the Dems have railed against domestic terrorism for years, and in fact the 13 who had proposed a federal domestic terrorism law apparently refused to respond to Fox News as to whether or not they felt that they agreed with this being domestic terrorism,” Pirro said.
“I don’t know who they were. I would advise anyone who can go on the record and is in any position of power to come on and denounce any violent action,” Tarlov responded. “I think it’s pretty simple.”
The panel went on to debate about lawmakers like Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett, who have called for Musk to be “taken down” while speaking with the Tesla Takedown movement. During a call with the protest group on Thursday, Crockett said that all she wanted on her birthday, March 29, was for “Elon to be taken down,” quickly adding that she meant it “figuratively.”
“OK, do you want to then take responsibility for everyone who sent a pipe bomb that was influenced by Donald Trump?” Tarlov asked. “The guy from Florida who was sending pipe bombs to prominent Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and George Soros?”
Gutfeld called out Tarlov for only having one example to use against Republicans, but the Democrat strategist listed other scenarios.
“No, I don’t have one example,” Tarlov said. “People who show up and shoot up Walmarts looking for brown people. You want to take people who’ve been influenced by Donald Trump.”
“That’s not Donald Trump calling for that. The Democrats are calling for the destruction,” Pirro said.
Tarlov said no one was calling for destruction. Pirro then cited failed Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, who was seen gloating about Tesla’s stocks dropping while on stage during his tour around the country.

“I said yesterday, I thought that it was really stupid,” Tarlov said. “And Ro Khanna is right. He has 20,000 people who work at Tesla. There are hundreds of millions of dollars in Tesla stock that fuel these pensions or fund these pensions, I should say. That part of it absolutely has to stop. If you don’t want to buy the car, don’t buy the car. If you want to sell the car, sell the car.”
“But Donald Trump’s saying on Truth Social that maybe you’ll go to El Salvador. At this moment, when the ACLU attorneys are reporting that people have been falsely sent to El Salvador, which is what we said was going to happen, they’re being sent back because guess what? They’re not Venezuelan,” Tarlov added. “Also, they sent some women. El Salvador doesn’t want to take women. Are you going to finally admit that the way that they are vetting these people is inaccurate?”
Pirro and Tarlov argued over Trump’s deportation plans. Pirro said she believes it’s important to “get rid of the criminals” in the U.S. before asking Watters about investing in Tesla.
“I’m invested. I’ve been invested. So go for it if you want. Am I in trouble now, Jessica?” Watters teased.
Tarlov responded by saying that she “probably” is invested in Tesla’s stock as well.
“OK, good. So tell your people to stop firebombing,” Watters said.
“I have,” Tarlov whispered.
On Thursday, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced charges against the three individuals arrested for violently destroying Tesla properties. In a statement, the Department of Justice said the individuals would “face the full force of the law” for using Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars and charging stations.
“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi said. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
